Has anyone ever Rebuilt a Roadmaster, Stowmaster 5000 Tow bar and if so, was it hard to do and any problems you had. Thanks in advance.

Roadmaster has a kit and instructions on their website to replace bushings, springs. pins etc = seems like it would not be hard to do - just wondering if anyone has done it . I am having to replace Button, pin and spring. The spring has broke - sorry I did not put in original post.

Yes, I did some years ago. Be aware that the inner arms are different and get them right before putting the rivets in

I heard Roadmaster techs regularly visit RV shows and offer to perform maintenance/rebuilds on all Roadmaster towbars they see. I wish I had my towbar visible when we were at The Rally in Syracuse this year, darn!

I looked all over their website and can't find the Stowmaster rebuild kit. Any hints on how to find it?

Check out the Towbarsand brackets. Todd is one of Roadmaster premier resellers and installers. In fact he manned the Roadmaster booth at the Rally in Syracuse this June.

The About Us link has a Contact link and Tiffany will be glad to help you. Plus they are located very near Roadmaster in the Northwest. They shipped very quickly to me in NY.
