Rock Solid length???

I need some kind of toad protection. After reading several threads, I think I want to go with the rock solid protective guard. My MH is 17.25 inches off the ground at the rear. The rock solid comes in 20 and 16 inch, from I can tell, I will need one 13 - 13.25 inches high. Any suggestions, can the rock solid be easily trimmed on the ends? Does anyone have a different product they would recommend?

I trimmed about 4" off of mine with no problem.

I trimmed one with a jig saw. No problem. Make sure it doesn't drag when the coach dips a bit. It can actually cause debris to flip up into the toad if too low.

They are more for show than protection anyway - despite what the ads may claim.

The instructions for the Rock Solid specify 4" of clearance on the level.

We also have the Rock Solid and it works great. We didn't need to trim ours, but it appears that it would be easy to do so.
