I saw them on NSA's website and tried pulling them up, but couldn't.

I just looked at Adventure RV's website and they have the ReadyBrute Elite at $1050, which while being higher than what we paid back last summer is still a good deal when you consider it includes the toad brakes, and that if buying a separate dedicated brake system might cost more than a thousand by itself. With another $400 or so for the base plate and self installation you can still get into flat towing for about $1500.00 for new equipment.

Don't forget the breakaway switch. Not sure why folks forget those.

Right you are, and the breakaway switch is easy to install. It was included with the tow bar when I ordered ours, I don't know if they still include that or not?

Ruttroo yikes...I wish I saw this post a week ago. I ordered from them and it's not going well! They won't answer the phone or respond to my emails.

At this point, I suggest you contact your bank and cancel the credit card for the account you placed your order on and request a new card.
I ended up getting my Ready Brute Elite for the same price $975 shipped at Adventure RV and it was a great transaction. From order to doorstep was about 3 days. They included the clevises, dash monitor, and safety cables. I also ordered the light and socket kit and unbiblical cord from them at the lowest price I could find.

I bought from RV Fun and paid through Amazon so I'll give them one more day.
Amazon says it was shipped Tuesday but RV Fun still won't reply via email or phone. We just got new Visa cards a week ago (took 2 weeks) because of someone stealing the numbers.
SteveG: RV adventure wants $1050, how did you get for $975?

I called their 800 number during business hours and asked Adventure RV to match the deal at the other place. That was the Ready Brute Elite tow bar with Ready brake, clevises, safety cables, and dash monitor shipped for $975. The sales person on the phone went on line to verify the other guys price and then manually placed the order. There is actually a place on Adventure RVs website where they encourage you to call them if you find a better price. Please keep us posted. I am very interested in seeing if you get you tow bar from them. Hopefully you will have better luck than I did.

Got the Elite tow bar today from RV Fun Products, included the dash light, break-away safety cables, clevises, all appears sealed from the factory.
What a relief!.......... it arrived in a week.
More later: (I don't want to shoot myself in the foot just yet)

Is the guy's name Erik with a K? Or are you dealing with a Justin Treadway?
Just curious.
I dealt with a company called Campers Paradise on eBay. Bought the ReadyBrute Elite for $899.99. They shipped an older version that consisted of a Ready Brake connected to a ReadyBrute Tow bar. Not what was advertised in the listing and not what I wanted.
Erik tried to tell me they are one and the same and he said he confirmed that with Ready Brute. I had done my research. I told him Night Shift Auto did not tell him that and I could send him spec sheets for both systems.
I told him to ship the correct product within 2 days and provide a UPS tracking number for me to confirm or the deal was going to be unwound. He would then be out the costs of shipping both ways and have no sale.
He wanted me to return the wrong one first. I said NO WAY! You screwed me, now you're going to have to trust me.
Short story long, they sent the right one and I returned the wrong one after I got back from our 3-week trip to Florida. I figured I'd make them sweat for the trouble they caused me.

Glad to hear you actually got it! But I'm a little confused... Their website now shows their MAP at $1,025.88. When you click on "add to cart" the price jumps to $1,067.88. How can they do that? They are also now charging an additional $75 for the clevis, which NSA includes as part of the package. That brings the cost to $1,142.88. Is that what you paid?

Their site is weird, it adds $75 for the clevis but only bumps the price $42.
The final cost was 1,067.88 includes everything. ( braking+tow bar in one unit)
Baseplate on the way....looks like i'll need a 4" drop receiver to level things out. ReadyBrake says only 1" of slope is allowed with their system.
