RV2 Brake
Does anyone have experience with the RVibrake2 braking system? I plan on using one in my 2015 Captiva.
Let the opinions begin.

I'll start it off........have used it for over 14,000 towed miles on two different vehicles (2013 Jeep Wrangler Sport and 2011 GMC Terrain SLT2) and I have no plans to buy any other braking system. Easy to use. Dependable. What else can I say? You'll hear the good the bad and the ugly and 101 opinions about other "great" systems. But, if the RVi2 system is the one that has caught your eye (as it did mine) then the rest simply becomes a matter of different people's opinion. We're happy with our choice. Good luck with yours.

I have the original RVI brake and we love it. Nuff said. Everybody has their favorite for what ever reasons.

 For the RVI2. Quick and easy setup, great monitoring system and I can tell the difference in stopping power on quick stops. Would not leave home without it. A bonus is OUTSTANDING customer service.

I have about 6500 miles on my rvibrake2. no problems to report. It works well.

Like everyone else that owns one, I like my RVi2 and it works as advertised. I had a problem with the remote unit and customer service is wonderful to deal with. I returned the remote and they shipped one back fixed in short order.

RVi2 brake works very well and is very compact. I kept it in a compartment that got flooded (ice-maker line leak) and sent it back and they fixed it for free and got it back to me in time for an upcoming trip. Great customer service.
I am having a problem with the TPMS system I bought with it. I am out and about now, but when I return home I have no doubt they will take care of it.

I'm not getting the TPMS, so no issues there. I have a 2015 Captiva and it has no lip or edge on the floor for the seat pan. I'm guessing my installer will have to add a stop of some sort to push against. He recommended it so I'm letting him deal with it.

Had the same problem with the Traverse, I cut a piece of 2x4 which rests against the seat supports. Works like a champ.

I bought mine in November 2014 and it came with a metal bar to use for a stop if it was needed, so there may be one in the package.

RVi will happily supply you with a stop and instructions on how to install it if you just ask them. They are great to work with.

X2. On the factory supplied stop plate. My box had one in it but I didn't have attachment brackets specific to the Terrain. Called the company, explained what I was installing it in and next thing I knew they were in my mailbox. Great people to do business with from my experience. Fiddled around with some different screws and washers and it was installed in no time. Works great.Good luck.

Have the RVI2 on my 15 Acadia. Works great. Tip: if you have WeatherTech floor mats turn the stop bracket upside down.

3+ years, 20K+ miles on our RVi system. Totally uneventful. Would buy another in half a heartbeat.
