I recently returned from FL and I must say I was a bit concerned about hauling 2 scooters on a hitch carrier after all the comments I recieved on earlier posts.
The scooters are just under 500lbs combined. I absolutly could not feel one bit of difference in handeling. If I didn't have a rear camera I would not have known they were there. This may not be the case for everyone. I only have a 35' Pace Arrow ( a 38' may make a difference because of the added overhang) I also have a substantialy beefed-up hich. I have been told factory hitches are fairly whimpy. My good experence may also be because of the carrier I used.

I traveled around 3,000 miles and some of the roads were not the best, even then I never felt any effects on the RV.
I will post some pictures later.
The scooter brand is called Tank, if you want to see them I started a post on how I bought and assembled them, you can follow this link
