seeking toad advice

I have a 1999 Lexus RX300 AWD, is it possible to tow 4 wheels down with 35ft georgetown V10.

Try the Remco list and check your owners Manual

I think you'll find most AWD autos cannot be towed 4 down unless you have a transfer case that can be placed in neutral. The Lexus AWD is one that must be put on a trailer.

Not entirely true. Not sure about the Lexus but my Taurus is AWD and is OK 4 down.

This may help. Last Tuesday I found a 2000 Lexus RX300 on the net for sale in Houston for $11000. The next day, when I could not get a definate yes or no on towing 4 wheels down, I called the service manager of a very large Lexus dealer. The service manager told me he had been working there for 7 years and had 18 years in the busines. He said in the the last four years he has had three RX300 come in with transmission failure. All three had tow reciever plates mounted on them.
