Should I have Camping World install my towing equipment?

Will be adding tow bar, base plate, and braking system for towing. Also, will be installing a Remco Transmission Lube Pump as my toad will be a Toyota Solara A/T. Received quote from Camping World, but would like some input as to anyones experience with a similar install.

Since they discount their labor rates, CW prices are the most competitive.

I'd say go for it if you are buying most of towing stuff from them.

Camping World only will install what you buy from them.
Their prices are a little high for parts. But their new $39 labor price makes them a little cheaper then others in the end.

In 08 they installed everything to tow my HHR.
This fall I will have them set up a new MKS for towing 4 down.

We've had 2 motorhomes with 2 toads and they've done both installations. I've been pleased with the results. We didn't need the Remco so I can't speak to that.

Towing setup ok, but not sure I would want them doing the transmission pump.

Just watch closely, on my Even-Brake setup, they used 2" screws to attach the controller to the foot side board and ran the screws through the door wiring harness. 1/2" screws came with the kit but they lost them

Camping World in Denton, TX has done "toad installation" work for us a couple of times, including a REMCO transmission pump about two years ago. The tech did such a nice job, I tipped him . . . and I'm really not inclined to tip very often.

When I bought my '08 Saturn Vue, I purchased all my towing equipment from Camping World and let them install it. I have never had any problems with it and I am still happy with it.

Had everything installed by Camping World. Excellent job all around. Didn't need trans pump. Nice thing about CW is should you have any problems, they are all over the country.
