Smart Car/Enclosed trailer

Has anyone considered towing their Smart Car in an enclosed trailer.

I was curious as to how small you could go and still be able to move around the car to hook up the tie down strap. The advantages I see is the ability to carry other things in the trailer out of the weather. Protecting the car from the elements and debris and also hiding it from prying eyes when towing through the states the require brakes on anything over 1500 lbs.

One of my concerns is can the door ramp handle the weight
