So the first thing to determine is if your MH has an additional ~2,000 lb (car + hitch) capacity on both the rear axle and relative to the GVWR. In addition, since the load is cantilevered behind the rear axle it will produce a torque moment around the axle which will reduce the load on the front axle, potentially to the point affecting handling. Any weight taken off the front axle will be additional load on the rear one. All too often in threads such as this people focus on "I saw someone else do it" rather than asking whether it is safe to do.
Sound advice and reasoning. One fellow claimed he could safely load his Harley on the back of his MH. His numbers said he had 21,000 on the rear axle well under the legal limit for buses and MH. He also said that the GAWR for the rear axle was 17,000 which overloaded the axle and likely the tires. Claimed it drove like a dream and he could not tell the difference loaded or unloaded????

Monaco used to have a 15,000# hitch option around 2008-2009

With people like that I think all you can do is walk away and hope you're not driving near them when the inevitable disaster strikes. It's one thing to be a little over on the rear axle, but 4,000 lbs!
