Smi Air Force one install on a 2010 jeep wrangler

Getting ready to install this on my 2010 jeep wrangler and was wondering where the best place to install the black box would be? SMI sent me some photos of it installed on a 2012 and it looks like they installed the box under the hood on the left hand side near the existing brake lines. Is this the accepted spot for jeep wrangler installs as there does not appear to be very many options.

I honestly don't remember where we had it installed on our '10 Sahara. But if it fits, then it's fine. On our current JGC, it's cable tied to one of the control modules as shown in an SMI install pic. Works fine.

I'm attaching a photo I just took of the install in our '12 Wrangler. It was done for me by a dealer back home in Wisconsin. I've seen other installations with similar placement.

As you know, there isn't much space to spare under the hood. There are a lot of plastic cable ties used to keep everything in place and stable.

Bottom line, where ever you can find a space big enough and are able to secure it so as to prevent damage to it and other under-hood components.

Good luck!
