Need help...can not locate the cold side of the brake switch and an existing port in the fire wall to run hose and wires. Anyone completed an install on a 2007 Suburban?

Jerry:

I had similar problem locating wires to the brake switch in my Explorer. I needed connection to cold side of brake to send signal to remote transmitter for my Apollo braking system. My solution was to tap into a brake wire at one of the tailights on the Explorer. It caused me to run a wire, but at least I got the signal I needed.

Jerry,
If you can find thr brake switch, one wire will be hot at all times & the other will only lite up when the brakes are on.

Chevy no longer has power to the brake lights if the ingition is turned off. I had to wire the transmitter to the blue wire in the harness (power to vacuum box).
