Upon installation of my SMI Stay and Play Duo braking system on my 2005 Honda CR-V, everything seemed fine until I tried the right turn signal and at that time the brake pedal on the Honda pulsed with the flasher signal from my Winnebago.Has anyone else experienced this? What is the solution?

Call SMI at 800-893-3763. They have a fix for that.

Did you adjust the sensitivity as described in the installation instructions? The unit should only activate when there is sufficient forward momentum AND the brake/turn signal is activated. I was initially concerned about this as well when I installed my unit but was assured by SMI that this would not occur when properly adjusted. Upon use I have realized that it is impossible for the situation of "right turn signal only without brakes AND sufficient forward momentum" to occur.
