SMI Stay n Play Duo factory install.

I want to have the Duo installed on my CR-V. I planned to use a large local dealer, but was blind sided on their estimated time/cost to install. 10-12hours@$110/hr, ouch. I called SMI and they were shocked at the estimate, but said it does happen. They will do it for 3.5hours@$100/hr. Has anyone used this service and was it satisfactory? Thanks

3.5 hours is fair. I paid 4 hours in Fl. If your asking about a factory install , I would say you can't go wrong with them.

I spent a half day having SMI Manufacturing in Newburgh, IN install the Duo in my CR-V. Very good job, fair price. I would highly recommend them if you can arrange to be there.

I installed mine and it took me about 7 to 8 hours but that included running the lights to the back of the C-RV with separate sockets so I didn't tap into the factory wiring. Its not hard to do just takes time to figure out a nice clean install.

I had SMI install the Air Force One on both my toad and motor home and then had them install the motor home portion on my next motor home. I'm completely pleased with the work they did.
