Spare tire and wheel for tow dolly

I have a Master Tow dolly. I want to carry a spare tire and wheel in case of a flat.
My question is about a wheel. Do you know if dolly wheels are different than car wheels? New wheels are available from the factory, but I was thinking of getting a steel car wheel from a salvage yard, and having a tire mounted on it. I have not yet measured the bolt pattern, but I will later today.

Not sure about the rim but the tire is DEFINITELY different as it is a trailer tire with a harder sidewall as opposed to an auto tire.

I found that our when I bought a used dolly with two auto tires. Had a blowout in Galax, VA because the inner sidewall hit the tow dolly frame. Had to go to Roanoke to find a Saturday tire shop with two trailer tires.

I had to replace a wheel on my Master Tow dolly two years ago after a blowout. The swivel pan was binding and caused blowout. Since I was ordering a fender and new pads for the swivel, I just ordered the wheel from Master Tow. There is a standard wheel and one with a 1/4" offset. I don't remember which was right for my heavy duty model dolly. I just told them the dolly model number and they sent the right wheel. If you look for a used wheel, make sute it has the correct offset. Otherwise the tire may rub.
