Step 3
OK We have
Step 1, Put sticks and bricks up for sale;
Step 2, Bought a small car to tow
Step 3, Now we need to get a Tow Dolly and have the new car wired for towing.
Where do I go that I can get the work and Dolly for less than a kings ransom ?
I thought about U-Haul or Camping World, unless someone on this forum has a better answer.

Darn it's tough being NEW.
I thought the brake lights on the car needed to show when you step on the brakes.

Will you be transferring the elevator you had installed on the Newmar to your next purchase, Larry?
There's a 36' DP for sale privately in our neighborhood (a CC Inspire). If that might meet your needs for full-timing, send me an e-mail and I'll pass on the details to you.

Car dolly
There's lots of options and opinions...Like for a new dolly, you can spend a little or spend a lot ($1,600-$6,000+)
Just search this forum for "Tow Dolly"
Here's a long and informative thread:
http://www.irv2.com/forums/f85/need-...uy-118456.html
I and many here, have an EZE-Tow from Acme.
See it here: Car Tow Dolly -The Lightest and Toughest Tow Dolly For All Car Towing Needs - Acme Car Tow Dolly Company
++++++++
It's very different from most other dolly's with no rotating pan (reduces risk of fender/dolly impact) and has surge disc brakes (fully automatic, self adjusting and no electrical controller needed).
Here's an idea...I did this: Go to U-Haul and rent a dolly for a trip with the car you intend to tow...see for yourself what a dolly tow is like. I did this more than once and found it was well suited for me. I bought the EZE-Tow knowing that I did not want to flat-tow or use a full car trailer.
Good luck

Larry (611 posts, senior member and iRV2 supporter) asking if he should buy a dolly from U-Haul or another idea?
Thanks, to Frank for pointing out the obvious
