The incidents I've seen have been some dead batteries, tire problems, a bad cable connection, a damaged tow bar, a broken front end part, and even one down in a ditch off the side of the road in the Colorado Rockies. Not shocking as much of this stuff is normal for any car on the road, and of course that's from many hundreds of toads. Potential toad problems are not a deal killer with me.

However, I know not all class A owners tow because I've seen them on the highway and even met some. But I guess none on this forum.

Maybe my feelings will change further down the road.

Nothing unique required. I have a Roadmaster hitch and a Brake Buddy, but any product will do just fine.

Whatever trips your trigger is the way to go, if you are happy without a toad that's the way to go, but if you get stir crazy and like to play tourist when using the motorhome a toad may make it a whole lot easier. We've almost always had a vehicle of some sort with us when motorhoming. The few times we didn't early in our motorhome experience just about drove us nuts being stuck at the campground or having to put everything away so we could go with the RV. We towed a motorcycle for over a decade, then sold that and my wife made it clear she wanted a towable vehicle in the garage asap! But we know of other campers that never go anywhere when camping and would never need a toad.
