Stowing my Ready Brute Elite

Do you RBE owners have to remove the brake cable eye from the pintal before you can insert the stowing tab on the tow bar into the pintal? Mine doesn't seem to fit both.

Yea, I bought it used. I'll probably give it a coat of Rustoleum later this summer. Just had the cables installed in the CRV and need to take it on a short trip to get used to it.

Thanks for the answers, now I don't feel so bad.

Another tip or trick I'd put bungee on break pedal to under driver seat. Will give u positive pull back on break pedal. Also every time I stop for break I'll jump out and feel jeep front brakes for heat. Gives me first hand info
