Anyone pull one of these? It seems like it might be a good towd. I have also considered a Honda CRV, but everything I've read says it is really underpowered. I have an '06 Wrangler Rubicon Limited which is a great tow car, but my wife absolutely HATES driving or riding in it, so....

I don't think the Subaru Outback is rated for 4-down towing. Check here.

"underpowered" is a matter of perception - thousands of owners find the CRV to be just fine. Auto enthusiasts, on the other hand, will find most any small SUV to be less than quick.
If you want more vehicle and more power, why not something like a GMC Envoy (Chevy TrailBlazer), or maybe Jeep Liberty, since you are Jeep guy?
