FMCA states that 2014 Suburu Forester manual is towable wheels down. Eddie Elk.

We have a 2010 Subaru Forester, but it has an auto trans. so we don't use it as a Toad. We love it, but mileage could be better. I've talked to many folks with Subaru Toads and they love them. When my VW diesel gives up the ghost I'm looking towards a Subaru Toad.

I'd get look at the Subaru Crosstrek XV 5 speed manual. Lighter, more off-road capable, better mileage, almost as much interior space, more fun to drive.

We've towed our 2013 Subaru Outback from Montana to Dallas to Quebec to Dallas to Los Angeles
Beautiful car. Not a single problem.
It is only used while we are in the States. It has 6000 miles on the clock but travelled closer to 20000 miles.
Just about to get its first service at 18 months

I am on Subaru #14, we have and nothing but since 1977 #13 made it to 300,000. My 3.6L H6 got 27MPG on a 1400 trip at 70 to 80 mph. We tow a large teardrop trailer with it.

We have been towing our Forester for 6 years now without any problems. All manual Subaru's are flat towable so you have lots of choices. None of my local dealers have manual models in stock so you may have to order one.

have towed manual outback for 3 years lots of miles no problems--Ok one minor problem- when you disconnect the toad from the motorhome make sure the parking brake is set. it scares the people around you.

01 Forester. Has Air Force One brake system. Manual tranny. Tows like it isn't there. Love it. Would do it again.
Good luck and safe travels!
