Supplemental braking system for Nissan Xterra or Frontier

Has anyone installed a supplemental braking system in a late model Nissan Xterra or Frontier? I have a 2014 Xterra and am looking for recommendations for what works (and what doesn't). I'll be towing it behind a Newmar Canyon Star 3920. Thanks.

Any of the brake-in-a-box systems will work. I personnally use and prefer the RVi2 braking system since it is light weight and sits firmly in the floor pan of the vehicle. You can even get tire pressure sensors with it if you want.

X2 on the RVI2 brake. It will work in virtually any vehicle. Great system, easy setup and great customer service.

You might want to look at Ready-brake it's simple and works, I think one is in our classified section.

I put a stay n play duo in my 2013 Xterra. Install was a little challenging anchoring the actuator cable to the firewall as there's not much room on the engine compartment side. Works well and super easy hookup.
