On my 2013 Eqinox, I believe it is fuse 32, near the passenger's left foot.

Review your Terrain owner manual, the section on Recreational Towing. It will have explicit instructions.

The Terrain is the exact same configuration as the Equinox mentioned above. The fuse panel is located on the side of the console next to the passenger's left foot. To pull the fuse, you pretty much have to get down on your knees, open the fuse panel cover and pull the fuse. It's not that difficult but definitely a PITA.

I made my own fuse replacement switch and mounted it on the driver's side of the console. Now just a flip of the switch, and I'm ready to go.

As mentioned, the owner's manual provide detailed info on this subject.

I never thought of putting the switch on the driver side, that's a great idea. Was it a PITA to run the wire?

No problem at all. Fuse block is on right side of the console and I installed the switch about 10 inches away, high on the left side of the console.

Just waiting on amazon for the switch for the fuse, the baseplates will be here Tue. I got the air line threw the firewall today. I still have to deal with the lights and the anchor for the break cylinder.
I have to be crazy to keep changing toads with all the work that has to e done. Hopefully I keep this one a long time.

I don't understand what your saying, how do you increase mileage on the car by pulling the fuse. Does anyone else with a terrain or equinox experience this?

I think what he means is that you decrease mileage registered on the odometer. The miles towed with the fuse pulled do not count.
