thinking about getting a 2013 mazda miata mx-5 hard top convertable and was trying to figure out how i can tow it behind the coach. It will be a manual trans. i currently have a jeep wrangler that I tow 4 down, if I can do the same with the mazda it would be great all i would need to get is another baseplate. Any info would be great.

No information on the 2013, but the remco site says the 2012 '...must be towed on a trailer'

Jim,

I towed a 2000 Miata 5-speed for over 35,000 miles

and have now towed a 2010 Retractable Hardtop 6-speed over 14,000 miles.

Setting up and towing your 2013 will be no different than my 2010.

Additionally, I have helped more than 40 other Miata owners, including 4 towing a 2006+ Miata, to set their Miatas up for RV Towing.

I installed my own baseplate,

so I can probably tell you all you want or need to know to get set up and towing.

If interested, please Email me at tim@themorans.org.

Tim

Hi jimbooth25,
If you have any concerns about the warranty, the owner's manual is the defining document. It will tell you if the vehicle can be towed four down.
