thoughts on dolly and all four down

I already have the blue ox system along with the break buddy. But we brought another car and my wife dose not want the stuff in front of the tow car. I was thinking of another toad like a ford ranger and I could but my cycle in that. But now im thinking about the dolly as I would not have to worry about the trans or what I can tow. I was told about the back end hitting the ground with the dolly? Possible at a rally I could sell the blue ox and break buddy ?

I have decided on the tow dolly as when ever I exchang a car or if I have to ever rent a car the dolly will work. I did like the all wheels down but that car as been traded in and we have a bmw and I do not want to put any thing on the front and it would be expensive to go this way. The dolly is way less expensive.

Jim, FWIW I'm selling my dolly in the classifieds on this site. I bought it before the moho to get wife's car to dealer for repair. It didn't have brakes when I get it so I had them put on. Most people posting here seem to have brakes on any trailer they tow and I would think any insurance co. would know brakes were there before any claim pay out.
I've found having the dolly useful for other than just towing with moho. They seem to cost a little less compared to all the gear to tow 4 down.

We have towed both 4-down and with a dolly. The dolly was a pain to load in wet weather, but they have improved on them a lot since then. If I was to go back to a motorhome, I would use a dolly with brakes. This would give me the flexibility to use a different vehicle without having to install all of the brakes and tow bars.

You can take my 2 cents worth and add 3 cents to it and you would have a nickel.

You're aware, I suspect, that there are specialized dollies/trailers on the market that can handle both a motorcycle (or boat or ATVs or jetskis, etc.) and a vehicle.
