Yes, that is my understanding also, after spending time with Chuck, from Tire Minder, last Summer during the Madison FMCA rally.

At that same rally Chuck swapped out our original receiver, that had constantly been giving false signals, for one of the latest generation. Since then, no more issues, no more false alarms. I am still using the older style sensors, but may update to the newest generation when we get our new coach (they update more frequently).

We really like our TM system. I know it works as we saved a tag tire when the reading crossed the threshold. WE GOT A WARNING when we should have IMO.

Had some issues with setting it up initially as I set the start tire pressure too low. When the tires warmed up I was getting warnings about heat and pressure. As I should have. Warming up to the learning curve I reread the manual and made adjustments to the settings. The warnings were timely and were what I had asked for during the initial setup.

I have had several issues that TM support has been great about. Service that is as good as they say about Bob Tiffen. Fast, friendly and totally helpful.
