Tire Minder TPMS

CW has the TM66-M6 on sale right now $90 off at $345. Read a lot of reviews on this and others. My one important question to any of you that have one is about the delay on reporting a lost signal? If the delay is as long as some say does that mean that there is a delay on reporting data too?

Have not experienced the issue. We have had our Tire Minder since the coach was new. Worked well and has saved a tire (IMO). Had some warranty issues and the matter was taken care of without hassle. I would recommend them.

If you're looking for a TPMS look at the TST 507. It's a great system. If you do a search, there are quite a few threads open on this system and you'll see how many of us own it.

Flow thru or non flow thru sensors. The display on the TST seems really small?

I wasted my money on the tms66 set,
just trying to save you some money as mine worked right for about one trip and gives false warnings continually.

Did you ever get it resolved? How is the customer service?

i have been using tireminder on my rig and toad for 3 years, no problem. i chose to install the signal booster because my rig+toad is pretty long, sometimes i lost signal. the booster does the job well.

its reporting time is instant. if i unscrew a sensor, i would have it beeping right away.

it saved me big years ago when i was on a steep long down hill in denver. my pacbrake wasn't working so i was using the technique of foot braking (press/release in the proximity of +/-5 miles to the marked speed). it alarmed me for overheating. i pulled out and found out that both front wheels were extremely hot to untouchable by hands. if i were not using it, i would have continued to drive, and the bearing/hub would have locked up. needless to say my pocket would have had a big hole.

I am looking at the TST and the EEZ RV and thought the same thing on the TST monitor.

The actual screen is 2.5 x 1.5 I guess it gets the job done but is really small IMO.

Glad to hear you had success with Tire Minder as ours has been horrible False alarms and long delays for reporting. Tried support but no luck. So I just junked ours a loss of hundreds of dollars. JR

Thank you for that info. That make the EEZ's monitor of 3 x 4 inches look very attractive and probably the deal maker for me.

The tire minder (also called a bunch of other names) is not a replacement for a tire guage. If you expect instant tire pressure from it you will be disappointed. It does let you know when it thinks there is a problem with the tire. I got mine from InnotechRV and it has paid for itself. It is a tool, learn how to use it. I have got false signals stopped checked the tire found no problem and drove on. I like it and will get another when this one dies.

So what are the other names I would like to hear them. After reading your post then you do have the TM and it seems maybe your saying they are slow or inaccurate about sending data? I watched a good video on YouTube and didn't like the Ezz unit as it spoke of its short comings and demonstrated them too. I want to decide on a unit soon and am more unsure than ever.
