To Toad or not to Toad, that is the Question?

Well I have done some soul searching about pulling a toad and have listened to all of you about the pro's and con's and really appreciate all the advise....this is the best sight on RVing bar none. I have decided to take my first long trip without a toad and will rent Vehicles as needed....so far I have my plans set and vehicles rented at the first to major stops...Grizzley R.V. Park, West Yellowstone and Whistler Gulch in Deadwood City....I will let you all know how it goes when we get back...Thanks again for all the advise.

Have fun on your trip! I'm sure you'll do just fine without the toad.

When we bought our moho, we said "we don't need no stinkin' toad." Yeah. That didn't last long.

We have traveled with and without a tow car. There is a convenience factor for us that results in us towing a car. The wait and sometimes hassle of getting a rental vehicle was just to inconvenient for us. I hope your choice works out for you but I will be interested in hearing the results.

No toad (or tow'd in our case) = no life boat.

We have particular wants in the dingy and the RAV4 meets those needs.
