I towed an HHR for four years and found it to be a great choice.

Much depends on what you want in a vehicle. Jeeps are very popular and good toads - wranglers, grand Cherokees, liberty etc. lots of Honda CRV's as well.

These are great little cars. We have had one two years and pulls like nothing is there. We are changing to a Lincoln and will probably regret it.

need brake system on toad?

I am researching into purchasing my first MH and was wondering if a brake system is needed on a toad of around 3,800-4,000 lbs behind a 43-45ft MH with a motorcycle lift attached to MH? Thank you.

I told a Chevrolet HHR behind a gas rig and its my daily driver. I think it's great. The Roadmaster tow brackets do not require cutting the bumper and can hardly be seen when not towing. Its lightweight and I can hardly tell it's behind a motorhome. No special requirements to toe except for one fuse that is easy to get to.

We tow a Chevrolet HHR and love it. First towed behind a gas and it felt like it wasn't there. Now tow with a DP and even better.

I am towing a 2013 Kia Soul W/ a manual trans. We love it light easy to hook up and a great all around car. We went for the Soul + larger engine and with lots of bells and whistles. Great everyday car also. 10 year 100k warranty and was under 15K.

I toad an HHR from 2006 until this year ~18,000 miles. Could not ask for a better tow. Easy to hook and unhook, 3,200#and 32 mpg when not being towed.....
