SAL: Congrats on the new VUE, and THANK YOU for realizing that saftey demands you install some type of supplemental braking device. Here is a link to the B/O website where you can see lots of info on the product you are considering:
http://www.blueox.us/Brakes/toadstop.htm
I am a believer in B/O products and, from personal experience, can attest to the fact they WILL stand behind their products. That said, I am also very pleased with the simplicity and funcionality of my US Gear tow brake, which is working just fine in the second toad I have used it on. ED

Here is another good brake system.
http://www.smibrake.com
Do a search for SMI and you can read what others think about it.

If you tend to buy new vehicles every 2-3 years, or sometimes want to tow a different toad, I'd get a portable system like a Brake Buddy or similar. Otherwise, Toadstop or one of the other permanently installed brake systems is fine.
