In my case, M&G is the best for me.

I've got the Roadmaster Brake Master and it woks for me. It's easy to install and remove and I like the way it brakes the Toad.

Same here, have used it on two toweds so far with no troubles. Both have been DP's so I have air brakes. And it WILL lock the toweds brakes up if necessary even though it works on a "dead pedal". A toweds brakes are designed to take the stress of dead pedal applications by Federal Law/Safety rules. So no worry there.

I have the ready brake system to install, the coach manual says not to tap into the air brakes so that idea went out the door. The toad is a Honda Fit so this should work fine with a light car.

The best breaking system for a toad is the one you have. I have US Gear in a HHR, works great for me.

"Best" is relative to what you want it to do.

Here's what I want mine to do.

1. Only brake when I tell it to brake. I don't want any system that makes its own decisions about when to apply the toad's brakes
2. Not require adjustments during the toad connection process. I want to mount it and have it ready to go. I do have to pump the vacuum out first.
3. Let me know when the toad's brake is applied. There is a light on the dash that does that. But most systems do that, too.
4. Have a breakaway feature. I can test mine and do periodically.

I'm another with the Roadmaster Brakemaster system. I've had it since 2004 and moved it between two different toads in that time. It has never given me any problems.

Having a toad brake does make a difference. We used to tow a Saturn SL-1 and I could hardly tell that it was back there. We now have a Saturn Vue and I can tell it is back there. I especially like the extra braking capacity on downhills and if some goofball cuts in front of me at the last second coming up to a red light. I can tell that I have more braking capacity.

We use the InvisiBrake. Just had it installed at the end of August and seems to work great. Just returned from the Skyline drive and all worked well. The nice feature is there is nothing to setup after the original installation. Just plug in the lights and roll...

Another thumbs up for the Roadmaster Brakemaster!! It has worked really well when towing our Jeep. Easy to set up and I really like the proportional braking aspect of the system. I wouldn't hesitate in purchasing the Brakemaster again.

About how much was the install cost on the InvisaBrake? Could a reasonably competent DIYer do their own install? Will it work on any moho and toad? I'm trying to compare total costs and features on this and the ReadyBrake.

Thanks!
