Toad Factory OEM TPMS

I would like to monitor the sensors of my Toad. Is anyone aware of a "tune-able" system to monitor the factory sensors. I have searched but not found a scrap of evidence. To me it does not seem to be a big deal to develop such a system (for someone not me) . I have the original tires and sensors plus the set of custom wheels with sensors that work with the factory system, kind of hate to buy more sensors.

Thanks, I had not found that one. Looks like others have the same question with no solution. I'm not concerned about the leaving the key on I'm going to install a hot wire system from the MH.

I think any of the TPMS manufacturers who solves this would be a big hit on the market. Use the external sensors for the coach and dolly then tune in the (Ford/GM/ect.) sensors for the towed vehicle.

It was only a hundred bucks for the sensors on the toad. They already owe me nothing.
The car makers probably have patent/proprietary issues that would block the use of their technology.

When you change the TPMS sensors on the Toad doesn't that negate the system when you are driving the Toad? Or does someone have a work-around on that?

When a tire gets low it lights a light on the dash. Just tapping into that circuit to light a light in the MH would be good for me.

Not sure what you mean. Factory sensors are mounted inside the wheels. Aftermarket TPMS systems usually put a sensor on the valve stem. Both work simultaneously and do not interfere with each other.

Sorry, I worded that poorly . What I was trying to convey was; does the aftermarket TPMS effect the factory set-up. My original wheels are internal, as are the custom wheels I installed. Apparently it is not a problem.

I'm switching from a dolly to four down and trying to learn and set a course.
