I'm not sure of what you mean by a "wheel lift." If you're talking about a device to lift the front wheels off the ground to tow like a tow truck, you'd have to check the axle weights and limits of the RV. You'd have the RV engine and transmission, and the engine of the toad all behind the rear axle. I wouldn't try it myself, towing 4 down is much less strain on both vehicles.

With as much stuff that's in the engine compartment of a DP I don't know where you're going to mount a hydraulic pump, the cables and controls.
If you just want to haul a toad use a four wheel down tow bar. If you can't tow four down get a dolly. Or a trailer.

I watched the video and noticed the RV had a tandem axle, a requirement, I'd think for the weight involved. Also, no mention of price or installation costs, probably much more than a tow dolly, I'd imagine.

Big Willie,
I am sure the pre-made unit would cost more than a unit you build...but that is such a GREAT IDEA!
I have been considering a wheel-lift for my gas chassis RV to replace our dolly (of course much simpler as any stealth/hidden lift system should fit) and had seen this in my research.
If you do it, hope you post all about it
Safe travels

Looks like a project for next winter. The Jerrdan I had from a burnt wrecker I bought for the motor for a customer. Back then a 3126 was harder to come by. The lift just worked out for a friend who ran around the country buying cars. This time I will probably pay the price for something ready made. However I will probably install it as I am very picky. I was excited to see something. It would be nice to take anything you wanted at a whim for a toad.
