Bought my MH last September, its a 35' Winnebago. We have taken several trips and just returned from two weeks on the coast. Now am considering a Toad which will make it easier to get around at our destination. I am looking at a Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo. Since we live in snow country I want 4 wheel drive. I have been told it must have a transfer case with a neutral position to disengage all four wheels. Other than that I am at a loss. What is a good tow system and do I need to control the brakes on the Toad and if so how do you do that. Considering a used one or possibly a new one not sure of the reliability by years of a used one. I have found that when you need expert advice you go to those that are here. So I am asking for your opinion on what type of equipment to look for in my selection of a Toad. Thank You All for your input

There are many posts on weight limits for gas MHs. Winnebago has restrictions on hitch weights as well. I would start by reading the Winnebago manual and understand their ratings. My opinion is that a Cherokee is a bit heavy for your rig. You will notice a bigger drop in MPG too compared to a lighter toad. JMHO.
