Have you done that? Have a pic? It's a pain messing with the cable locks each time you want to adjust the cable.

Resurrecting this for a short update. Towed the CRV out to the west coast and back and got used to the pushing sensation in turns. But also noticed that when doing the usual steering corrections while cruising the interstates, I'd feel some side to side bumping with the car/towbar. I think this is just slop in my receivers, especially with a 10" drop receiver.
So I have installed 2 NSA De-rattlers on my tow setup and it is now rock solid as far as movement. Can't wait to get it out on a windy road to see if that was the problem.
I also may go to an 8" drop as I drug the towbar twice trying to get out of RV parks. That would put my receiver pin 2 3/4 inches above the Toad receiver pins. NSA said that would probably be OK.

I have the same rig albeit a bit newer and on a Ford chassis. I just towed the CRV 4000 miles with an 8" drop and anti-rattle device. The Ford has a factory track bar on the front and I added one to the back axle. Not sure if that's the reason but I can hardly tell the CRV is back there.

Just talk to NSA yesterday here at the FMCA rally in West Springfield Massachusetts. Told them I installed a turn buckle on the brake cable per a suggestion I had read here. They said they have a new cable coming out with a turn buckle added for ease of adjustment.
I also told Tod that I thought they had the best quality/workmanship drop bars available anywhere.

8" drop? Dang, thats a big difference. I was happy cause I didnt need any drop, only 1 1/2" difference. Is the 8" because of low car or high hitch? Or was it both?

I needed a 10" drop for our set up in my signature.
