Toad Juice
New to towing- wondering how much it matters how much gas you keep in your towed? I get the weight formula, but is thee a practical side that suggest 1/4? 1/2 ? 3/4 produce different results in stability?

I keep my toad full.
If I'm headed across Texas, or where ever, and my coach dies I want to be able to use the toad with no worry about getting gas.
I doubt there is any difference in handling. My tank is about 16 gallons which is about 130 lb.
The toad weighs 4,020lb full of gas. So maybe 3,950lb with a half tank.

Yes, I agree. Never know when you might have to make a run for it.
The difference in weight between 1/4 & full is not going to effect anything.

I gotta go in with a x4 here.
If I need my toad on the road, then I already have stress. Stress is bad. I don't want compounded stress because I saved 50 lbs in the toad tank, and now I am out in Thumbnail, Nevada or something.

Never gave it a thought. I guess I should keep it full.
