Toad or uber?

Since uber is everywhere now, why drag around a toad and load and unload that Master Tow? Anyone out there using uber?

Just depends on where the park is you're staying at. It's really pretty easy.

The ride sharing programs and rental car outfits that will pick you up are centralized in urban centers and near airports.

So, do you use your RV near these city centers? If yes, then Uber/Lyft will meet most needs. If no, then the toad or a bike is your best option to packing up the RV for any local trips.

Best luck

A statement only made by a city dweller.

We have used Uber and Lyft, and have also rented cars. Uber and Lyft seem to work out better as you don't have to worry with getting the car back to the rental agency, and for our use in running around town for two or three days, it was really cheaper than renting.

Uber is far from everywhere. In or near larger towns yes. On a couple of recent trips last year, having downloaded the Uber app, tried to find an Uber driver with no luck. Drivers are not going to service remote areas if they have to sit for a long time between customers. Rental agencies are also not in remote areas due to lack of business. If you want to go when you want to go, it's better to bring your own transportation.

Uber is everywhere?

There is no uber anywhere near many of the places I camp.... (but my toad has always been right behind my coach wherever I park it).
It takes less than 5 minutes to unhook or hook up my Saturn ION.

If you are in range of Uber, why not?
We are Fulltime and have a toad, so Uber isn't an issue for us but may be perfect for many others.
On the other hand.....if Im near town and need a designated driver.....?

We use our tow car to explore within about a 100 mile radius of our stops. Taxis and rentals don't work for the way we choose to travel.

Uber, Lyft, taxi, limos all good options and can make your travels more fun and safer. You can sit back, have a beer and get driven through Yellowstone, Mesa Verde etc.

And some folks still want to call it camping.
