Toad recommendations for 24 ft. Class C motorhome

I have a 2012 Coachmen Freelander 23 Ft. Ford E350 enginem 415 cid V10 w/305 hp. I want to tow either a Honda FIT or a Honda CRV and wonder if anyone else with a smaller size motorhome has pulled either of these vehicles. I have narrowed down that either car can be towed 4-down but don't want to overtax the motorhome. Coachmen says I can tow the heavier CRV weightwise. Just wonderfing if anyone else has pulled with a smaller size motorhome. New at towing.........

I pull a 4door jeep with mine don't even know it's there . You should not have any trouble weight wise pulling either one .

I guess I'm kind of an interloper in this thread.

The main reason I bought a short C Class was so I didn't need a toad.
Ted 'n' Laurie, plus Jackson (aka Deputy Dog, the Parson Russell Terrier 'fur kid') and, Rylie (who crossed the Rainbow Bridge June 14, 2012).

I am towing a 2013 Honda Fit and it tows like a dream. We have the V10 and it's more than up to the task. You can safely tow either the Fit or the CRV without problems. I find the V10 to be an awesome engine with more than enough power. Now if only it could get better gas mileage. I get 7.5 ~ 8 mpg towing the Honda Fit.

I don't have a class C but I do have a 35' class A with the original 99 F53 chassis with the 275 HP V10 and pull a Ford Escape on a dolly without any issues. Have not noticed much change in MPG either. This class C will have more HP and Torque with a lower weight than my setup. As long as your with in GCVW of the motorhome you can tow a car no problem.

Years back, we had a 20 to 22 foot Jamboree powered by a Dodge 360 engine and towed a Toyota Corolla all over the west with no problems.

243 Foot Winnebago View, towing a Subaru Forester, no issues. Just make sure on Subaru that it is a manual transmission.

If your hitch can take the weight and your combined weight is fine then tow what you like.

It's not the go it's the whoa, give it a brake.
