Toad suggestions

I am looking to purchase my first TOAD and am seeking suggestions on appropriate models. I would prefer a smaller vehicle that would also be good in bad northeast weather when not visiting warmer climes. I am only interested in four down options.

We just bought a 2013 Honda CRV-EXL with all-wheel drive. Just be aware that the 2015 CRV cannot be towed 4-down!

We tow a 2011 Honda CRV and we love it!! Just small enough, just big enough and can be towed 4 down!
The one advice I would give if you are considering a Honda CRV (pre 2015 since the 15's can't be towed 4 down anymore due to a transmission change to a CVT)
purchase an item called a TOAD from etrailer.com It will keep your CRV batteries from going dead while towing it.

We were considering a Jeep Grand Cherokee, but after looking at the reviews we quickly changed our minds.

The Honda CRV has great reliability reviews!

Just (last night) bought a 2015 Jeep Cherokee. It isn't set up to tow yet, but it will be.

Do you tow your Kia on a dolly because it is not towable 4 down? The OP was only interested in flat towable vehicles.

It is tow-able flat down with no mods. I just chose not to modify the car and like the versatility of the Acme Dolly.

I might add it is only 2770#'s full of gas and can be bought for under 17K.
