Toad Vehicle

I am looking at an Entegra and have an LR3 as a tag vehicle. I understand that backing could be a problem with the tag attached for even a short backup. Does trailering the tag vehicle provide that much better benefit?

The benefit of a trailer is that you can back up, and also not worry about whether the vehicle is recommended for flat towing (which I don't think Land Rovers are).

The disadvantage is worrying about where to store the trailer when you're at home or at your destination. Its also takes more effort to unload/load a trailer is you want to leave the motorhome and explore mid-trip.

And backing a short trailer behind a long one is no picnic either. But it can be done, especially for short distances.
