TOADS

I have a 99 Saturn being pulled by a 05 38' TS Envoy. Altho the Saturn is great, am looking for a replacement. Have the new Motorhome guide to Dingy Towing 2011. I have noticed on other various sites Toads not listed as flat towable. Any comments out there? Other than not being recommended by the MFGR

If you want quiet and nice ride look at the Buick Enclave or the new Jeep Grand Cherokee, If you want fun and adventure look at the Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. There are so many nice toads that Im sure you will get alot of info from the members.

Hi Long Island Mac,
If your rig can tow 5K+ lbs, consider the choices from GMC. I have an 05 GMC ENVOY. These are no longer made, but the replacement (Acadia) is just as good. I have had no problems with the ENVOY. 4X4 (for fun and safety), weight and a long wheel base for comfort. GMC = heavy duty.

Check the Honda CRV...Honda economy, reliability, versatility, light weight, and approved by Honda to be towed four down. Towing instructions are listed in the owner's manual.

I admit to being a little prejudiced since we own a Wrangler, but I can't imagine a better unit for what we do. It's easily hooked up, @ around 3700 lbs.-fairly light and the Jeep just feels sturdy over the rough terrain(we crush no rocks!). On the 'road' to Gemini Bridges in Utah, it was good to have it under us! When it starts raining hard and the others high tail it out of Dodge, we keep on keeping on. Tow 4 down w/auto. Bob
