Tongue weight of toad?

Looking deeper at MH specs in more detail as we cut down the list of MHs we like. Looking at the federal Certification tag and I have NO IDEA what the tongue weight of my toad will be??? I know what my toad weighs no problem, but the tongue weight??

Thanks
Bob and Sharon

Are you using a tow bar, Dolley or trailer? Tow bar is next to nothing dolly is dependent on what your towing but would be difficult to exceed any mh ratings. A trailer will be most likely the arrangement to be concerned with.

For a four-down toad, the tongue weight will be somewhat less than the weight of the towbar itself. Mine is 40lb or so...

We will be 4 down so looks like the tongue weight will be very small

THANK YOU.

4 down the only weight would be the weight of the tow bar. But even that will be spread out over the hitch and the base plate of the toad.
