another thing should also be taken into consideration - when you use drop hitch trying to level with toad, with too much drop the tip of the hitch may plow the ground when you are driving upward just out of a ditch. I saw one stuck on the road at 90 degrees with curb when he was trying to get into a grocery store parking lot but his hitch plugged into road blocking entire lane. police was there but nobody could move the rig.

flat is good. but if it's too low, i would rather have a hitch with 3 inches above toad's.

Was able to get a 4" drop and it worked perfectly. Here is a new picture, should not have any issues.
