Tow Bar base plates for Lexus GX470

I am looking at setting up my wifes Lexus GX4780 as our flat tow vechicle. I'm planning to do it myself and wanting to know if anyone in the community has a recommendation on which vendor to purchase. In addition, how hard is it, any special tools required, do the base plates mount directly to the frames pre-drilled holes, etc.?

Thanks in advance

Hmmm. Base plates are not the problem. The GX470 is not towable 4-down without a transmission lube pump and I don't know of anybody making one for it. Remco doesn't have one in their catalog. And if it is AWD, it is not towable even with a lube pump.

See The Remco Towing application charts for your year and model:

We tow a 2007 Lexus 470...
Transmission in park
Transfer case in neutral and leave key in but not on, so steering won't lock.
Blue ox is way to go. One man operation.
3 min hook-up and 2 min un-hook
Been towing this SUV since it was new.
