I use Blue-Ox.. I have looked at other brands including but not limited to Roadmaster, Ready Brute and Demco and frankly,, Don't see a lot of difference.

So long as it is a telescoping tow bar.

There are sometimes issues with the latches not releasing or the pins not wanting to come out but there is a trick.

Start car and put in park, if using axle lock or drive shaft disconnect put it in "Drive the car" mode first (lock the lock or connect the disconnect)

Now turn wheels right and left and try again, if that does not work try right or left.. Usually that does it.

Sometimes, if parked on a hill, I will put it in reverse (or drive) and apply just enough power to "Tug" then apply service brakes (Primary) put back in park, and release primary brakes.

Had a problem one time.. Smacked the release harder and it released.

I'm solo. Very happy with my Blue Ox Avail. Haven't had any problems with binding and I have been in some precarious positions while unhooking.
