Tow Dolly Pin

Has anyone else experienced loosing the pin that holds the tow dolly in place once the car is in position? We have had this happen twice.

If your loosing the pin you have to reconsider how you are hooking up. The locking pin that goes through the pin should not allow the pin to come out. They do close two ways only one is the correct way. Make sure it "snaps" when you put it on. That's my best guess.

Blue Ox used to have pins that had a button on the end to lock it in place. I lost 2 of those on 2 separate occasions. Fortunately, I caught it both times before the pin was all the way out. If you have pins like that, THROW THEM AWAY!

The pins I use now have a smaller, separate pin that goes through the end of the main pin to lock it. The locking pin has a ring on hold it in place. The ring has to face the correct direction or the pin can also fall out.
