Tow dolly question.

When on a tow dolly, because the toad's front wheels are up off the ground by some distance. If you raise the front end of the car, the rear bumper goes down. At least in my thinking. The question is anyone have a problem of the hitch receiver on their toad hitting the ground? We have a 2007 Chevy uplander with a 2" Reese receiver mounted on it.

We have a Toyota Highlander on a stehl tow dolly with no problems with the Highlanders receiver or trailer hitch dragging.

Tail contact with the ground is possible for a low cars on a dolly.
These cars will also often have issues when loading with front fascia contact with the dolly.

The Uplander looks to be about the typical height of a minivan off the ground, so should be no problem.
If you use a cargo rack on the receiver of the Uplander while towing...that could bump the ground.

Best luck

There will be nothing in the receiver on th uplander when it is being towed. But the receiver does hang down below the bumper.
