I don't know if these are the best, but they work fine for me on my ACME EZETow. I emailed their customer service with my wheel size and got a promt response as to which one would be best.

I like the ones with three straps that form the "basket" on the toad's tires. Those straps are sewn in place, so there's no wrestling adjustable straps on the backside of dirty tires. Prices are reasonable, too.
EDITED: Looks like we're thinking along the same lines, Mike.

I have about 8k miles on my straps and they seem to be wearing quite well.

The ones that fit your wheels the best...replacement straps come in different sizes. Makes a big difference, I had straps that were a little too big and ended up rubbing in the wrong places.

If your not traveling, you can order them from Stehl Tow and have them shipped to where ever you are.

They are expensive if ordering from Stehl. My straps, for 17" wheels, were $100.
Wherever you get them, make sure they are for your size tire.

I worked after retirement hauling high dollar autos on a rollback truck. Used the basket, three straps, on all 4 wheels of the auto. The dealers did not want the frames strapped/chained down. with a hook on one end and a winch on the other, there was no movement unless the strap was brand new. They have to get set/stretched but a check and retighten took care of that until the straps had a few trips on them.
Only kind of strap I would use now

The basket type with three straps are the easiest to use and most effective. The adjustable types are a bit of a pain. Make sure you have the right size straps for your wheels - both tire diameter and tread width are important to a good fit. I'd avoid the one-size-fits-all claims.
I bought my last set from a vendor on Ebay (don't recall which one). They were great to work with. I gave my tire size (18" low-profile tire) and they figured out which strap would fit.
