Does anyone know where online one can find straps for a tow dolly that are not as expensive as Camping World's.

We bought a used tow dolly for our Prius. Our problem is that the tire straps are too big for our 14 inch tires. We can't tighten them down to stay tight - it is the back strap with the hook that is too long. Our only option is to find someone that sews canvas that can shorten it for us.

I found a place online called 'US Cargo Control' and they make them for 14 inch tires. They had to special make it due to their standard ones have the hook going the opposite direction. It is on its way so we should know in a week the verdict.

I had the same problem. I found a shop that sewed canvas material with nylon thread and paid the man $20 to redo the straps. It's stronger than factory stitch.
