Tow dolly tire balancing

My Acme EZE TOW came with a nice disclaimer that said due to new Federal Regulations on lead wheel weights they are unable to balance the tires and that I would have to have it done. I've been to three shops, Merchants, Goodyear, and even WalMart. After looking at the tires they all said they could NOT balance these tires because they're simply too small. The rims are only 10 inches and their machines only go as small as 13 inches (the smallest car rim).

Question is, what type of equipment will balance tires this small? Where can i go? Is it even required? I would say yes simply because it's a tire that will be rolling 60 mph behind my MH. Thanks.

You could get a portable tire balancer like the ones Harbor Freight sells. Cheaper option would be ride-on. I've used it on motorcycles and works well. I would also keep an eye on the bearings since the wheels are so small. The smaller they are the faster they spin.

Have you asked this question to the manufacturer of the dolly?

Put in tire balancing beads. You should be able to buy them at a tire shop.
