We use a Demco Kar Kaddy III and have towed both a VW Jedda and Passat with it with absolutely no problems. I have also towed my Ford Explorer and my old 74 Corvette.

Safe and reliable.

Our ACME EZ Tow was delivered yesterday. Very easy to unbox and push into our garage. We'll be using it for the first time next month. I'm now researching how to power a pair of LED towing lights.

Congrats!! We have had our EZE-Tow for about 3 years and love it!

I recommend testing how the car takes turns (with the car steering unlocked)... I believe that has been the main complaint from owners, who did not set-up the car to allow the car's steering to fully pivot for turns. This test can be done in any parking lot at slow speed...just watch the car/dolly set to see the car's steering pivot as the RV makes left and right turns. It is just like a flat towed car and critical for making turns - or the dolly tires will skid through turns causing unneeded wear.

For the lights, you could get a splitter. Put the dolly in one port and the other to a set of extra lights:

Just make sure you have a front wheel drive, all wheel drive may be a problem and rear wheel drives are a definite problem. The tow dolly works but I like my Blue Ox the best, can put on or off at a stop sign but you need a vehicle that can be towed 4 down.

That depends on the laws of the state you're in, not the laws of your home state. So, to be legal everywhere, you should have the lights working on the towed, that's what I did.
