It will wreck the xfer case. Wrangler is either 4-up or 4-down.
Sorry pardner!

All the Jeeps I have owned the Manuals said Not to tow them on a dolly but tow them 4 wheels on the ground. 4 Jeeps total still own 2.

We have 2006 Jeep Liberty and the manual in bold black says not to tow on a tow dolly! It's got to be 4 down.

Four down or on a trailer if it's four wheel drive. You'll destroy the transfer case otherwise as others have said.

Sell the dolly, use the money to set up the Jeep for towing 4 down.

The ONLY way you can do this is remove the rear driveshaft when you tow. Like JMonroe said, sell the dolly and setup the Jeep for towing 4-down.

Also, check Craigslist for tow bars. I went with a friend of mine this weekend to check on a listing for a Falcon All-Terrain towbar. It was brand new and had never been used. Also, the guy threw in all the mounting hardware and cables for a 98 Jeep Wrangler which my friend happens to own. Got everything for $250.
